Yana Pechersky focuses her legal practice on sophisticated Estate Planning and Estate Administration, including complex tax planning for US citizens and foreign nationals, probate and asset protection. In addition, Yana rigorously represents individuals and entities in connection with purchasing and selling of real estate in New York and Florida. Yanas practice also encompasses advising clients regarding Elder Law issues, such as Guardianship, Medicaid and Special Needs Planning.
Yana has previously worked as a securities attorney at UBS Wealth Management, Inc., where she represented the firm before various State and Federal securities regulators; as a business strategy consultant at Accenture; and as a marketing strategy analyst at American Express.
In addition to being a founding member of Feldman, Pechersky & Krishtul, PLLC, Yana serves on the Russian Leadership board of UJA-Federation and as a co-president of the Russian Speaking Business Attorneys Network (RusBAN). In the past, Yana has volunteered her services as an attorney with NYLAG (New York Legal Assistance Group) and inMotion, an organization that offers free legal services to low-income women.
Yana received her Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she served as the Senior Editor of the Arts & Entertainment Law Journal, and her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. In 2014, Yana was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star in the areas of Estate Planning & Probate and Elder Law.
