Is CLE Mandatory in Nebraska? Nebraska requires admitted attorneys to complete 10 CLE hours each year. This page details the Nebraska CLE rules.
What specific subject matters are required in Nebraska? You must attend at least two hours of professional responsibility CLE as part of your 10 required CLE hours.
How many Self-study CLE credits will satisfy Nebraska CLE requirements? Online and other self-study courses may be used to satisfy up to five hours of the required CLE credit for Nebraska. Online courses must be approved by the Nebraska CLE Director.
What are the Nebraska Live CLE Requirements? Five of the 10 credit hours must be live. The rest of your CLE hours can be distance learning through Marino, anywhere you have a computer with an internet connection.
Is a Marino CLE bundle available for Nebraska? In the future, Marino plans to offer Continuing Legal Education courses for Nebraska so that you can get your CLE hours quickly and conveniently from wherever you are.
Is the CLE provider responsible for verifying my participation? Nebraska requires the sponsor of the program to verify attendance. The sponsor will be responsible for submitting your CLE attendance records to the Nebraska CLE Director.
What special CLE requirements are newly admitted attorneys held to? New Nebraska attorneys are exempt from the CLE requirements beginning January 1 of the year following their admission.
Does Nebraska require attorneys to self-report their CLE attendance? Nebraska does not require the attorney to self-report CLE credits earned. It is the responsibility of the sponsoring organization to verify and report attendance.
