Is MCLE Mandatory in Idaho? Attorneys in Idaho must complete 30 hours of CLE credit every three years. More details about MCLE compliance can be found on this webpage.
What specific subject matters are required in Idaho? Idaho requires that three hours of your 30 MCLE hours cover the topic of legal ethics or professional responsibility.
How many online or self-study CLE credits will satisfy Idaho MCLE requirements? Online courses may be used to satisfy up to 15 of Idaho’s MCLE hours for the reporting period.
Does New Mexico have Live CLE Requirements? Yes. Only 15 of the 30 required hours every three years may be self-study credits. A combination of live classes and published legal writing credits can satisfy the remainder. See this page for details.
Is a Marino CLE bundle available for Idaho? In the future, Marino plans to offer Mandatory Continuing Legal Education courses for Idaho so that you can get your MCLE hours quickly and conveniently from wherever you are.
What special MCLE requirements are newly admitted attorneys held to? New Idaho attorneys are required to complete at least 10 New Admittee Credit-Approved CLE credits in their first year of admission. New attorneys must also complete the New Attorney Program within their first year of admission.
Is the CLE provider responsible for verifying my participation? Idaho does not require the CLE provider to verify your participation on our online courses.
Does Idaho require attorneys to self-report their MCLE attendance? You are responsible for verifying attendance at any CLE training that does not track attendance for you.
What is the certification cycle length? Every three years
Idaho MCLE compliance/reporting deadline: December 31 of the third full year after admission to the Idaho Bar, and triennial anniversaries after that
