Mr. Biermann has experience representing employers and executives, partners, and professionals, in a wide variety of employment related claims and issues. He has litigated complex employment matters in Federal and State Court and in arbitrations and mediations on behalf of both companies and individuals, including claims of Discrimination; Hostile Work Environment; Retaliation; Disability; Wage and Hour Violations; Restrictive Covenant Breaches; and Employee Benefits Claims.

Mr. Biermann also has significant experience with complex employment agreements from both the employer and employee perspective, including drafting and negotiating executive level employment contracts, severance agreements, consultation agreements, and restrictive covenants.

In addition Mr. Biermann has experience conducting employment law audits to determine whether a company is in compliance with all up to date employment law mandates, and experience vigorously defending small and large corporations against New York State Department of Labor audits.

Prior to entering law school Mr. Biermann spent a number of years, in Los Angeles, as an actor in the entertainment industry, where he landed substantial roles in major studio films including Pearl Harbor, and The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, and starred/guest starred in numerous sitcoms, dramas, movies of the week, TV pilot episodes.
