Maureen is an attorney with Cogent Law Group. She is also the owner of Crowdie Advisors, LLC, a business consulting firm dedicated to helping local and foreign entrepreneurs and small business form business entities, transact business and obtain financing via equity crowdfunding and other alternative financing methods.
She has experience in advising startups on equity crowdfunding strategies and other compliance issues related to raising funds to grow a business.
Maureen also has a passion for immigration issues. She has volunteered in legal clinics and servers as a Haitian Creole translator when needed.
Maureen earned a B.S. in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and M.A. in Homeland Security from American Military University. She earned her J.D. from UDC-David A. Clarke School of Law. Maureen is admitted to practice in New York and Florida.
