Alfie has been exclusively originating reverse mortgage loans for over fourteen years and is acknowledged as an expert in the field. He has lectured extensively about the HECM program, notably for Marino Institute, The New York County Lawyer’s Association, and The Rockland County Bar Association, to name a few. Since 2004, he has originated hundreds of HECM Loans. Alfie maintains that HECM Loans are not for everyone and believes that they should be done when the borrowers will be the beneficiaries of an improvement to their quality of life as a result. He also believes that borrowers should include their children and other trusted advisors in the decision making process.
