Changes to NY and NJ CLE Requirements

In order to take precautions to stop the spread of coronavirus, temporary changes to the NY and NJ CLE rules have been issued.

Newly-admitted New York attorneys can now satisfy all Bridge the Gap CLE credits through nontraditional live formats such as a video or web conference through June 30th, 2020.

Similarly, New Jersey has temporarily waived the live requirement for all attorneys.

The Marino Institute for Continuing Legal Education is the largest Bridge the Gap provider in both New York and New Jersey and we are at the forefront of legal education technology. We now offer Bridge the Gap events through a live interactive webconference format, which allows our students to meet all of their first year New York requirements, as well as all of their new admit or veteran NJ requirements from the comfort and safety of their home or office.

A single day of live webconference contains all 12 “live” credits needed to satisfy your Bridge the Gap requirement, PLUS you will receive an online and on-demand bundle which contains the 12 remaining credits to fulfill your annual requirement.
